Data Deletion Policy
At Honlor, we believe in minimal data retention. You have full control over your data, and we ensure that unused data is not stored indefinitely.
6-Month Auto-Deletion Policy
To ensure user privacy and security, Honlor implements an automatic data deletion policy: If an account remains inactive for a continuous period of 6 months, all associated data, including chat history, media, and profile information, will be automatically and permanently deleted from our servers.
How to Manually Delete Your Data
If you wish to delete your account and all associated data immediately, you can use the following methods:
1. In-App Deletion:
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon confirmation, your data is wiped instantly from our
active database.
2. Email Request:
You can email us at honlorapp@gmail.com with the subject "Data
Deletion Request". Please provide your registered user ID or phone number. We will process your request
within 48-72 hours.
What data is removed?
Upon deletion (either manual or via the 6-month inactivity rule), the following information is purged:
- Personal Profile (Name, Phone Number, Avatar)
- All private and group chat messages
- Shared images, videos, and documents
- Contact synchronization data
Note: Once data is deleted after 6 months of inactivity or manual request, it cannot be recovered.
