What is a "strict mutual-friend model"?
It means communication only starts when both parties agree to connect. You won't receive messages from strangers unless you explicitly accept their connection request.
How does account deactivation work?
You can deactivate your account at any time in Settings. Your profile becomes invisible to others. If you don't reactivate within 6 months, all your data is permanently deleted.
Are messages end-to-end encrypted?
Honlor uses high-performance distributed infrastructure for speed and reliability. While we use standard encryption in transit and at rest, we prioritize account-level security with TOTP MFA and strict RLS policies via Supabase.
Can I manage group notifications?
Yes, each group has independent notification settings. You can mute, set to 'mentions only', or receive all alerts.
