Your safety is our priority. Here are some proactive tips to keep your Honlor account and personal information secure.
Protect Your Account
Enable TOTP MFA
Use an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy) to add an extra layer of security. This is available in Settings > Security.
Secure OTPs
Never share your Email OTP (One-Time Password) with anyone. No Honlor employee will ever ask for your credentials or OTP codes.
Safe Connections
Stick to Mutual Friends
Only connect with people you know in real life. If you receive a friend request from someone you don't recognize, it's safer to reject it.
Report Suspicious Behavior
If someone is harassing you or sending suspicious links, use the long-press menu on their profile to Report or Block them instantly.
Device Security
Ensure your phone's operating system is up to date. Avoid "Rooting" or "Jailbreaking" your device as it compromises the native security layers Honlor depends on.
